The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) will act as a Sample Collection Agency at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), which will be held July 21-27 in Baku.
AMADA will test athletes both during the competition period and out of the competition. The doping samples will be collected at all festival venues. All collected samples will be sent for analysis to Cologne, to a laboratory accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Dozens of AMADA’s doping control officers, chaperones and volunteers are involved in the work at EYOF.
In addition, within the framework of the festival, AMADA and the European Olympic Committee (EOC) will conduct a series of educational and outreach activities.
The opening of the games will take place on July 21. For seven days, the strongest young athletes of the continent will compete in 10 sports.
