Baku has hosted the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Anti-Doping Agencies of Azerbaijan and Germany. The MoU was signed by Dr. Tahmina Taghi-zada, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA), and Dr. Lars Mortsiefer, Chair of the Executive Board of the National Anti Doping Agency Germany (NADA Germany).
The MoU aims to advance AMADA’s operational capabilities in full compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards. Key areas of collaboration include results management, investigations, medical expertise, testing protocols, education initiatives, and other essential domains. The agreement emphasizes experience sharing, joint consultations, and the formation of working groups consisting of experts from both agencies.
This strategic partnership paves the way for future bilateral agreements, which are expected to broaden cooperation across various fields of mutual interest, further solidifying the commitment of both organizations to promoting clean sport globally.
